It's finally here! Mozilla's Summer Code Party kicks off this Saturday — and you're invited.

Events are being held across the globe this summer — find one near you and RSVP to attend one (or more) of the awesome parties starting this week!

Maybe you've always wanted to do more on the Web but you weren't sure where to start? Or maybe you've already got a couple YouTube videos or a Tumblr and you're ready to up your game? Maybe you've even built a few things on the Web and you're looking for a bigger challenge?

This summer we're introducing tools guaranteed to help anyone start making really cool stuff on the Web — from Thimble (our latest and greatest app — jam-packed with really fun projects!) toPopcorn Maker and X-Ray Goggles. And your fellow Mozillians are hosting a wide range of events designed for any age or experience level — so don't be shy about joining the fun.

With parties happening all summer long there are countless opportunities to learn, make and innovate — all while having fun. And with awesome partners like Tumblr, the London Zoo and Creative Commons, you can know it'll be a blast. So are you in?
Find parties in your area.

Don't see an event listed in your area? It's not too late to create a party of your own. Whether you quickly grab your family and friends around your kitchen table, or expand your coding expertise through a more intensive hack jam, there are still endless ways to participate inMozilla's Summer Code Party. And you can always get involved in other ways by checking out volunteer opportunities.

Have fun this weekend — we're looking forward to seeing what you build!

P.S. — The Summer Code Party is just one piece of our mission to make a web that is safe, open and accessible by building an empowered online community. Donate today and help us build a better Web.
